Job logo Physician - General Surgery Internal Job #: CBVA1 Job description: Our Virginia client located near Roanoke is looking for a General Surgeon. Consider this opportunity to practice “bread and butter” general surgery, as well as laparoscopic procedures in only one hospital. You will find a wide range of interesting pathology, with very little trauma work. New office set up which is located adjacent to the hospital. Be fairly reimbursed for your practice and have an excellent balance between work and the rest of life. Excellent reimbursement mix made up largely of Blue Cross, Commercial and Medicare. Shared call arrangement with call being 1:3 (10 days). Strong referral system with a defined need at this community hospital. Recruitment incentive package includes attractive income support, sign on bonus, student loan repayment, stipend for last year residents, and marketing. Area does not qualify for J-1 candidates. No H1B positions. Board certification required through the AOA or the American Board of Medical Specialties (unless residency has just been completed). MD or DO accepted.
