Position Details: This leader is responsible for the coordination and management of the organization-wide infection control program, infection control surveillance, monitoring trends that have been identified through surveillance, and maintaining all regulatory functions. This Director will facilitate education and training for leadership and staff regarding regulatory issues, new statutes, and guidelines related to infection control. This individual will serve as a mentor and a coach to their staff of three Infection Control Preventionists and one Data Analyst and will provide the leadership that results in building a strong and committed team that achieves the highest level of patient, clinical, quality, and service outcomes. Qualifications: · Ideal candidate will be a Master's prepared nurse with an energizing, collaborative leadership style. · Certifications in infection control and BSN strongly preferred. · Five years of experience within Infection Control and two years of leadership experience within an acute-care setting is mandatory. · The ability to lead through influence and bring diverse groups together working toward a common goal is essential.
